Race Regulations MWC 2019

The races categories are the following:

Open M (men)
M1 men up to 30 years old / up to 1989
M2 men 31 - 45 years old / 1988-1974
M3 men 46+ / 1973 and older

Open W (women)
W1 women up to 30 years old / up to 1989
W2 women 31 - 45 years old / 1988-1974
W3 women 46+ / 1973 and older

At the end of the race, the first 3 participants of each category will be awarded. Winners  get the Media World Cup Poland 2019 title + gold, silver and bronze medals for places 1 to 3 sponsored by the Active Time as proud supporter of the Media World Cup Poland 2019.

Riders can participate in the event as long as they are publishers, editors, journalists, reporters, press photographers, commentators, camera men or social media editors and cycling related bloggers. They can be employees or freelance reporters as long as they own a valid press passport of a country, an organization, a company or a medium.

The relation of each participant with media will be verified by an organizer. Each rider confirms healthiness and ability to participate in the event. A daily license is not necessary. Strongly recommended is an accident insurance. Helmet is mandatory.

Conditions of participation:
• The registration for the Media World Cup Poland 2019 starts now and lasts till 30th May 2019. The applications will be verified until 30th April - on-line at REGISTRATION FORM.
• The participation fee includes transfer from and to the airport, 4 nights in the luxury hotel, meals (4 breakfasts, 4 dinners), start fee and participation in special attractions prepared by organizers.  
• The number of participants is limited.
• While making the participation fee payment, it should be pointed out that it concerns the cycling events.
• Each participant who registers in time gets a free starter pack.

The procedure of delivering the envelope / Races offices

Each participant will receive the envelope with the technical guide, the race numbers, the regulations, the maps and the chip for his/her bike. Please keep your confirmation of the registration.

Start number

You will receive your start number from the secretariat. The start number with chip included shall be mounted / fixed to the seat post as per instructions.

Mechanical assistance and first aid

Mechanical assistance will be provided during the race. The Organizer will provide a mechanic in the start and feed zones for assistance to the riders. First Aid groups will also be located in the same place.

General Rules

Check points will be located on the course. The organizer provides a buffet located at the start/finish line. 

There are steep climbs, dangerous downhills and other obstacles on the course of the race which require appropriate bike riding skills from the participants.

The race will take place regardless of weather conditions.

Each participant takes part in the competition at their own responsibility.

The organizing committee of the Media World Cup Poland 2019 as well all Members of the Media World Cup-Committee disclaims any responsibility for the participants and their employees, in case of accidents or damage to persons or things, that may occur before, during or after the events and in case riders get involved in quarrelling with third parties.

The Organiser does not bear financial responsibility for possessions lost during the competitions.

The Participant of Media World Cup Poland 2019, filling in and signing the application form, accepts the terms of Regulations of the Contest and expresses consent for processing of their personal data and for use of pictures, recordings and interviews conducted in connection with the event by the mass media and also by organizer for marketing purposes. The Participant also agrees to publication of results of the event together with personal data.

Penalties / Disqualificatons

The organizing committee has the right to exclude riders who misbehave before, during or after the events. Additionally, nobody has the right to give his numbers or using someone else’s. Riders who do not show respect, will be disqualified.

Regulation Changes

The Organizer reserves the right to change the above rules, including the routes, due to technical or safety reasons.


The Participant registering with the official enrollment form confirms that s/he has read and agreed with the present regulation.
